Chris Acker & The Growing Boys
In a genre full of tall tales and marketable lies, Chris Acker crafts candid songs – weaving his wit and woes into a body of work that exposes the stale plight of the American Songster to the honest, and sometimes hilarious, light of day.

Since leaving his childhood home of Seattle, Washington, Chris Acker has called the haggard decadence of the New Orleans Americana world his purlieu. In the tradition of Guthrie and Prine, Chris lends a quavering voice to the half-rotten romance of the unremarkable and unrefined. Regardless if you’re sitting by a backyard fire on a muggy Louisiana night or standing stage-side in some far flung town, when you hear Chris Acker playing, you’re hearing the end result of countless hours of observing the masters of the craft…and the end result of repeating their mistakes.

Some hard-times don’t happen behind plows, they happen behind dish-pits and cash registers. Some ramblers don’t feel the hot breath of freedom, just the smell of car exhaust and a couch for a bed. From the folk revival through the golden age of country music, deafened by punk shows and brass bands alike, Chris’s songwriting is a nod to the absurd yet muted brilliance that inhabits the molded corners of the bars he patrons and cratered street he treads, paired with a pained honesty that merits a long second look

Jonny Fritz
A veteran of 15 years as a touring musician. Born in Missoula, Montana and raised in Esmont, Virginia. A near perfect blend of country and western, yet impossible to know what to call it or do with it. Jonny calls it Dad Country; a theme park tailor made for dad’s. That’s his genre (so he says) and if that makes sense to you then you ought to have your head checked. The guy does it all. He is a famed leatherworker known for covering household items in hand- tooled leather (from microwaves and coffee grinders to telecasters). He’s made guitar straps for all your favorite bands and he even co-wrote the hit song All Your Favorite Bands (with Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes). Currently residing in the foothills of Los Angeles, he hasn’t toured much in the past few years since focusing on selling houses and raising his daughter. He’s branded himself as L.A.’s Only RealtorTM and has become quite successful at selling multi-million dollar properties to the stars. Not to mention he’s the Music Director of a boutique music venue in Sonoma County, CA called Little Saint that has garnered some major headlines for their surprise shows featuring the likes of boygenius, Phoebe Bridgers, Rufus Wainwright, Hiss Golden Messenger, Lavender Country and so many more. There’s a special freakiness Fritz brings to whatever he does. Selling real estate, running marathons, songwriting, or leather-working. It somehow all makes sense once you learn to make sense of it. Catch this delicate flower the next time you smell him coming! You won’t want to miss out on your chance to see him do his thing

Jackson & The Janks
Songwriter and band leader Jackson Lynch emigrated from Ireland to New York’s Lower East side as a child, where he pickup fiddle, guitar, and a reverence for roots music. He studied under mentor John Cohen, and American folk revival musicologist. He shaped his songcraft performing with the Downhill Strugglers string band and as a busker in New Orleans, where he formed the first iteration of the R&B dance band that became Jackson and the Janks.

Utilizing a deftness for harmony and arrangement, the barry sax and sacred steel on the Janks first release with Mashed Potato Records (self titled 2023) set the band apart with a compelling and timeless raw sound – quickly becoming one of the most treasured and esteemed bands in the New Orleans Americana scene.

After returning to New York City in 2019, Jackson continued to perform Janks material – collaborating with a rotating cast of players from both the jazz and old time worlds – culminating in a second album, “Write It Down” released on Jalopy Records in 2025, a label born our of love and preservation of roots music through their theater and music school in New York.

From the captivating live act to the commanding appeal of the compositions, Jackson Lynch brings his observant nature, his love of a good time, and his encyclopedic appreciation for musical history and tradition to his writing and performance with the Janks. The result is a sound that is rich, grimey, and genre-melting – one that honors the music which informed it, and keeps the improvised edge and clang of a live party.

Charlie Hil
Charlie Hill is an artist originally from New Jersey whose career extends from Burlington, VT to Brooklyn, NY. He was formerly a member of the punk trio Bison (BTV), the indie rock group J Bengoy (BTV/NYC), and Chazzy Lake (BTV/NYC). He’s currently based in Nashville, TN.

Hill’s first record, Chuck Pond, combined indie production with country and Laurel Canyon-inspired songwriting. His latest release, Something Stinks – a preview of his upcoming album – reflects a rawer style of production: live band energy, country sound, and confessional songs about depression and heartbreak. It’s a sound that deepens his signature indie twang, presented in a scrappier and more human form. His sophomore album “Love Songs, Expired” is out now.

Creekbed Carter
For trans folk singer Creekbed Carter Hogan, everything good is made from the rotten stump of something else. It’s a theme they’ve become familiar with as they’ve made a life weaving stories of growing up religious around songs that pierce the soul, tickle the funny bone, and showcase a unique blend of self-taught folk picking and queer mayhem.
